Tunnels in 2025.

Wow. That went by fast. Well. Kinda.

2024 has been a year of change for me. Everything in my life has been changing. It’s been a wild ride at times.

Here’s a quick recap of 2024 and some thoughts on 2025.

All the change.

Every part of my life changed in 2024. My home, my work, my lifestyle and my body.

Starting last.., my body has been on a good path this year. We’re almost 4 years into my injury and we have things pretty worked out.

My movement is steadily improving and its plenty for most things. I’m expecting 2025 to be even better with plans for more physio, more swimming and more adapted cycling.

My lifestyles been changing too. Since leaving the Beeb in 2022 I’ve been steadily building the flexible monotropic flow I need to thrive.

I build my life around adventure and play and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It works so well it kinda feels like cheating. I can’t wait to see what happens in 2025.

A huge part of my flow comes from changes in my work. I don’t have a plan, I’m learning how to ride the waves and ripples of activity which come my way. It’s not easy but it works!

I thrive on variety and my work is as varied as ever. I’ve completed accessibility projects for folks like B&Q, Meta & the Lego Foundation. I’ve also worked with a few different game studios and charities. Beyond that we’ve also been growing the team behind ERMI… a slightly different challenge but fun none-the-less. I’m looking forward to more of both next year.

With financial stability came the biggest investment of my life. Buying a new home for my boyfriend and me. We found the perfect little house in the perfect place and moved back in August. We’re building a home together. It’s so different… new opportunities, new barriers and new adventures. Also lots of shelves. So many shelves!

I’m excited for 2025. We have the foundations of something brilliant, the rest will come in time.
